O’Mlou Waterfall Showcasing Its Beauty in the Mountain Forests of Chi Phat, Koh Kong Province

It offers visitors a refreshing escape where they can swim, camp, and enjoy the pure, fresh air in a peaceful and joyful natural setting.


O’Mlou Waterfall is located in Chi Phat Commune, Thma Bang District, Koh Kong Province, within the Cardamom Mountains National Park in the southwestern region of Cambodia. The O’Mlou Ecotourism Site is a diverse natural attraction that can be visited year-round and features a continuously flowing waterfall. It is especially appealing to travelers who enjoy adventure-style tourism.


Tourists wishing to visit O’Mlou Waterfall can travel to the Chi Phat Ecotourism Community by land, starting from Andoung Teuk Bridge and continuing straight along a dirt road for a distance of more than 17 kilometers. Alternatively, visitors may choose to travel by community boat, which passes through coastal waterways, offering a scenic and enjoyable journey across the water.

He further explained that among the tourist destinations in Chi Phat, O’Mlou Waterfall receives a considerable number of visitors because it is one of the closest sites and offers beautiful waterfall scenery and landscapes comparable to other attractions in the area.

At present, the Chi Phat Ecotourism Community is recognized as an important and highly attractive destination for adventure tourism, archaeological and historical research, and for learning about local traditions, culture, civilization, and wildlife nature.
